This unit allows a patient to call a nurse in case of an emergency and operates on a 3V battery. The nurse call button is positioned within easy reach of the patient’s bed and features both call and reset buttons. When the red button is pressed, a notification is sent to the nurse station’s call monitoring display and the overhead indicator light, alerting staff that assistance is required.
The patient handset is connected via RJ11, allowing for easy attachment and removal. When the battery in the button becomes weak, a “low battery” warning is sent to the nurse call panel. Each call is confirmed by an LED indicator on the button.
